We might. The library has some textbooks on reserve, but only for certain classes. To see if we have the book you need, you may:

  1. Call the library circulation desk with the title and edition number of the textbook.
  2. Search the library's WorldCat search using the title of the textbook. If it comes up, look at the location to see if it is at Main Library Reserves, which means it may only be used in the library. Other locations at county regional centers cannot be checked out.
  3. If we have a textbook, it is usually on reserve, which means you can only use the book inside the library, with a limit of 4 hours at a time.
  4. Textbooks may not be taken to class.

Why doesn't the library have my textbook?

The library does not purchase textbooks for reserve. We only have a copy if an instructor has given us an extra copy of the textbook for student use.
